Widad Business Group (WBG) melalui salah sebuah anak syarikat kami Wardah Communications Sdn Bhd yang merupakan pemegang saham majoriti di Dataprep Holdings Berhad ingin menegaskan bahawa kami tidak mempunyai sebarang kepentingan secara langsung dengan Asia Coding Centre Sdn. Bhd. selain hanya bertindak sebagai rakan strategik.

Sebuah syarikat bertujuan khas (SPV) di antara Dataprep Holdings Bhd. dan Asia Coding Centre Sdn. Bhd. dikenali sebagai Dataprep Asia Sdn. Bhd. pernah dibentuk sebelum ini dan telah diberikan mandat bagi menjalankan projek “Saringan COVID-19 RT-PCR” oleh Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia (KKM).

Bagaimanapun, selepas pengeluaran surat hasrat (LOI), Kerajaan memutuskan tiada keperluan untuk meneruskan projek berkenaan di atas kemajuan yang dicapai KKM dalam mengawal situasi COVID-19 pada ketika itu.

Justeru tiada lagi sebarang bentuk hubungan secara langsung mahupun tidak langsung di antara kedua-dua entiti baik daripada segi pengurusan dan lain-lain.

Widad Business Group (WBG), through one of our subsidiaries, Wardah Communications Sdn Bhd, which is the majority shareholder of Dataprep Holdings Berhad, would like to clarify that we have no direct interest in Asia Coding Centre Sdn. Bhd. except as a strategic partner.

A special purpose vehicle (SPV) known as Dataprep Asia Sdn. Bhd. was previously established between Dataprep Holdings Bhd. and Asia Coding Centre Sdn. Bhd. and was given a mandate to carry out the “COVID-19 RT-PCR Screening” project by the Malaysian Ministry of Health (MOH).

However, after the issuance of the letter of intent (LOI), the government decided that there was no need to proceed with the project due to the progress made by the MOH in controlling the COVID-19 situation at the time.

Therefore, there is no longer any direct or indirect relationship between the two entities in terms of management and others.
