Property Development

Widad Land Sdn. Bhd. (wlsb) is one of Malaysia’s foremost property developers who serve the nation by developing more affordable properties for all. Its projects are located in various states of Peninsular Malaysia and they range from affordable housing, multi-unit residential communities and hotels to private hospitals whose signatures include superb design and outstanding workmanship. The company’s management team combines decades of construction experience, and it carefully oversees every aspect of the development process from land acquisition through design, marketing, and construction.

Projects

Armed with the construction portfolio under its belt, Widad Business Group (WBG) has included property development into its business portfolio via its subsidiary Widad Land Sdn. Bhd. (WLSB) By using its own land bank, WLSB is building 20 units of semidees and bungalows located near to Taman Cabaran, Putrajaya & Putrajaya International Convention Centre (PICC), Putrajaya. The entire project which is worth RM33.78 mil is aptly named SAPPHIRE RESIDENSI.

Besides that, in Sabah, WLSB is currently involved in 3 mixed development projects in Kota Kinabalu.

 

  • Majlis Ugama Islam Sabah, located near Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS), a mixed modern concept development worth about RM1 bil.
  • Lembaga Kebudayaan Sabah, a redeveloped and mixed development located in the city centre area. The project will include one of the most iconic buildings in Sabah with superb mixed design and concept (cultural and modern living) worth about RM700 mil.
  • Yayasan Sabah, a mixed development on water @ Water Front of Kota Kinabalu City Centre which is worth about RM1.3 bil. This project will incorporate a 6-star hotel and luxurious condominiums as well as a high-end mall.’

 

As the hospitality industry is fast gaining momentum in Kedah, WLSB is building a 20-storey high, 210 beds hotel with silver rating GBI (Green Building Index) in the Royal town of Anak Bukit, Kedah. In recent years, the company has made inroads by teaming up with other developers to develop many other strategic lands in Kuala Lumpur and Johor Bahru to build affordable housing which comprise apartments and condominium.

In addition to their current projects, WLSB is also embarking on its Royal Widad Hospital project which will see three full-fledge hospitals being built in the next few years in Bandar Kinrara, Puchong, Alor Setar, Kedah and Gombak, Selangor collaboration with International Islamic University Malaysia). WLSB also plans on to build its first branch of the Widad University College (WUC) Campus in Kuala Lumpur.
